Here we faced an interesting situation of removing an old shed. The leaky roof had damaged the rafters and the frame had rotted away. This posed a significant risk for us as the roof was starting to cave in. The shed had been made into a home by neighborhood stray cats and snakes and posed a health and safety hazard and needed to be removed.
After removing everything inside of the shed, we dismantled it piece by piece with hammers and crowbars sorting recyclable materials as we went. Once the walls were down, we were able to cut the large, heavy roof into manageable sections. This tactic allowed us to fit all of the non-recycled parts onto one truck load, the recyclable cement block and aluminum onto another truck saving the customer time and money. Once everything we gone, we broom swept the area and gave the customer a significant portion of the yard back to use for fun and entertaining friends and family.
